Welcome to OSAT
Welcome to the Office for the Study of Automotive Transportation at the
University of Michigan's Transportation Research Institute. We are
continuing to celebrate our 25th year of research and thought leadership focused
on the global automotive industry. Our goal is to provide
the industry and, especially our affiliates, with research and analysis,
information resources, and communication forums that meet the evolving
needs of the international automotive industry. This site provides a
view of our contribution to the industry over the past 25 years, while
providing our affiliate members unrestricted access to all or our
